Polyisocyanurate (PIR) - Boards

Size

Foam Sales PIR is a rigid foam with high thermal resistance, making it ideal for use in building insulation. PIR boards are commonly applied as the core of a composite panel, or as under slab insulation.  Able to withstand temperatures of up to 140°C, these boards are also a fire-safe choice for building structures when protected from direct exposure.

In marine applications, PIR can be used to create shape where the form will be lined with resin, such as in the process of boat building and in model making. PIR is water resistant and can be routed or cut with a handsaw.
