Foam Core Board consists of a high density polystyrene foam core with a clay-coated matt paper liner on either side. The surface is white (or black, see below), smooth, and PH neutral. The boards are easy to cut and clean, and are easy to work with.
Applications include shop signs and displays, picture mounting and prints, graphic art, and model making. They are suitable for screen and inkjet printing.
Photographers also use these boards as light reflector panels - either separately or by taping two together to form a self-supporting V shape - hence the name V-Flats. The 10mm boards can be painted with a black surface on one side to enable both white and black reflectors in the one board. Two black / white medium size boards will make up one reversible white / black V-Flat.
